Your technology directory or coordinator should probably be invited to take care of the installation.

 

(1) Download the ISO and burn it to a CD

(2) Make sure the "server" can boot from the CD-ROM drive

(3) Place the CD in the CD-ROM drive and boot the computer

 

The installation routine will begin and will require interaction from the person at the keyboard.

 

Some pre-planning should include:

 

    What IP Address will the server have?

    What Name will you give the server?  (isdw is a good name)

    Will the server have public access, private access, or both?
